| Duel Academy Chancellor  |  Laptop plugged in but not charging
I've been having this problem with my laptop since last week. I've had to keep it plugged in all the time when im on in order to keep the battery going. At first i thought it was the charger, so i replaced that and it worked for 1 full charge. But then it went right back to having the problems again. If it helps, i have a Dell Inspiron 1545 with Windows 7 OS. this things all ive got and i could really use the help. Ill take it in for repairs as a last resort only

I think you'll need a new battery.

Why buy a Dell in the first place? Smh.... Best solution. Buy a new laptop, preferably Acer, Sony or lenova IBM notebook. Don't waste anymore money on inferior brands.

Hahaha, I had the same problem with my 1545... Twice. Odds are, you only need to replace the charger, the Dell ones are pathetic...

The only advantage to buy acer is its price. Moreover try to contact acer after sales, one of the worst :P
