Use Potplayer. It has an option that enables your computer to 'prioritize' watching over any other of your application/program etc. and it rivals MPC(with CCCP) when it comes to encoding since it also supports 10-bit, which VLC can't or is having a hard time doing because VLC is unstable at that(even their beta). Look at my playback configs in the screenshot at lower right: Spoiler I've used lots of player before when my pc was still fcking slow since I wanted to play 1080, sadly I can only play 720..and is barely but Potplayer came to my aid. If I remember it right, I've used a Dell Latitude 400 laptop single core around 2.8-3ghz, 1gb ram, and 32mb built-in video card. It plays mkv fine as long as I don't run any application and my windows is XP not windows 7. Aside from buying a new PC, I suggest you turn back to XP and not use windows 7 because windows 7 slows down your already (pardon the term) 'slow' pc. P.S. MKV requires a faster system than MP4 because it has superior quality(only noticeable if you really have a keen eye) so if a .mp4 or .avi is available then download that instead. P.S.S. [Ani-Kraze] sucks. [Shinsen-subs] is better since they explain the jargons that was used in Ergo Proxy before ED credits. P.S.S.S. Rumors say that CCCP's codecs are already old, even the updated one, and other codecs like Shark codec are doing better compared to it. Last edited by iDeja; 06-26-2012 at 10:25 AM. |

have you tried k-lite codec packs ...the full or mega packs are pretty good(I use the mega myself)remember you can not have CCCP and K-lite on the same machine you must delete your old codec pack before installing a different one are your videos of the newer "Hi 10p" if so you'll need the newer ffshow filters have you tried making your window to view your video smaller ...often in older computers the poor things just can't handle the 720p file...I usually just resize my window and things work and look better... also try to get more ram ...go for the full 2 gigs your comp can hold ....this will help you alot ...as your graphics card will "steal" more system memory for itself |

yea you had your files on megaupload but still didn't share them! whatever encoding software you're using I hope it's following "Advanced SubStation Alpha" proper styling you can upload on rutube, sapo, myspace, youtube and share on the main site for download links there is a trick but you can use till you get enough points |
