Can anyone hook me up with a free unlock code so I could use my phone?

Model: Samsung Evergreen SGH-A667
Carrier: AT&T
IMEI: ******************

After a quick Google, it looks like there isn't a particular code to use and is unique to you IMEI. You either have to pay someone to get it for you, or you can try calling your cell service provider for a code. I know with Verizon, if you were a customer for at least six months, in good standing; they'll have no problem helping you unlock (for newer "smartphones"). Just say you are planning to go overseas and may need to use a different SIM card. This worked for my sister.

My friend gave this phone to me, don't have money to provide my own unlock code -_____-

As Thammuz said, 2solutions :
1)Your friend must call his provider for unlocking the phone.
or
2)Pay the code online or in a shop, not too expensive, max $10.
