I think its gona be a dumb movie to be honest.

I am of Mayan and Aztec blood, I researched on about this 'End of the world theory' and I have talked to some of the Mayan locals about this '2012' ordeal when I visted Cancun 2 years ago. They laughed at me when I stated what the end of the mayan calender ment.

The Mayans says at the end of the calender it will just reset, and a new 'Golden Age' Will happen. Its a good thing that the end of the Mayan calender hits.

So will there be any end? No there wont.

The special effects are OFF DA CHAIN, the story seems 'meh', but nonetheless this movie just screams for Epicness capitalized. o.O O.o

The theory of the world ending in 2012 is dumb though..

But it's a good excuse for an epic disaster movie.

Well by the looks of the trailer it doe snot look bad, it kinda reminds me of 'The day after tomorrow' to be honest, but hey it does kinda look good.

the story is exactly the same with most disaster movies, especially deep impact
but this second trailer showed exactly what these movies need, crazy special effects and world-known monuments getting destroyed

so it may actually be cool

Yea, it's gonna be a bit like that, cool effects but practically no story. You see it's from the same director.

But, honestly, when I'll go see this movie, I couldn't care less about the story, the special effects seem just OFF DA CHAIN.

as long as shit start blowing up and collapsing within the first 20 minutes instead of useless development of characters u don't really care about i'll be satisfied
and the special effects are really impressive
