PETA's latest crusade

In one of the asinine things I've heard this year, PETA is seeking a lawsuit against Seaworld for the constitutional rights of their killer whales. They argue that the 13th amendment doesn't say it applies only to people and that the captivity of the dolphins count as slavery.

Where will it end? By the same logic can't all pet ownership be considered slavery?

The problem with PETA is that while animal rights is a great thing to fight for, they're so ridiculous and stupid in whatever they do that it just hurts their cause.

Plus, why are they just fighting for the orcas? Why not ever other animal in a zoo?

PETA is retarded. They are not the wonderful animal saviors they put out to be; especially considering that just like everyone else they put down those they can't house or find homes for. Like in a giant freezer. You'd think the members would find better ways to save their animal companions

Peta is a bunch of people who have a goal, However they've all become affected by an event within organized groups with a cause known as fanaticism. While in the beginning they were organized with great idea's for animal rights, they've become literal terrorists in their actions for they have become so glued to their cause they're willing to do anything and everything to gain the outcome they want.

This is the point at which any group becomes completely illegitimate, and any actions they take only serve to undermine themselves and hurt their cause.
