Inspires a lot of hope, I wonder if the cells can be programmed to fight other diseases?

I hope that as it becomes more public the research isn't stopped by people going off on moral tangents. It mystifies me that the same people who oppose stem cell research on 'right-to-life' principles seem okay with capital punishment.

Religious fundamentalism should not get in the way of scientific progress. Ever.

Talking about the rights of the 'unborn' while ignoring the plight of the billions of children born into poverty and cruel conditions is hubris. We must fix our own problems instead of waiting for absent gods to pick up the slack.

This is good but still a hope and not a proper solution.if you have been given a way of cure the it does not mean that people should consider their selves as free.keep this is your mind that prevention is better than cure.

Would be good if they could get a cure, would be good if they could get a cure for cancer too, which technically they don't, and it has been around, well forever.

Vi sex without condoms is still not wise and if you have het sex there is still risk of making babies not to mention the other things you can catch herpies still don't have a cure either, it may not kill you but still just eww :/
