Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo Episode 24

Man! I can't say enough about the artwork in this movie. I was amazed at how textures of material, art paintings, and if I'm not mistaken, newspaper clipings that appeared in the clothing, hair, as the subjects moved about. This movie was full of angst but all the while keeping the integrity of storyline. The music score was beautiful and haunting. I love the wonderful voice of the gentlmen singing this song. This movie was wonderful and an absolute joy to watch! I'm also grateful that is is available here on this site! Peace!

i totally agree about the artwork. for myself anime is at least 50% about the artwork, otherwise i'd just read a book.

Wow, for me this is tied as my favourite anime with Macross Frontier.

This certainly had depth and along with that, meaning.
