This was a most deifferent twist this third year.. i mean lots of asction and blood??? wow i mean cool! haha i like it... but im ready for some comedy!! ^_^ oh and im catching up on my episodes!!

I agree with you, this arc is probably the second best but I don't think anything can beat the bathroom scene arc. It was way too funny

i just really really hope that was the last time we heard of the damned curse... i prefer toushi to tosshi. this was definitely one of the best arcs, too hard to pick one over the others;)

I keep forgetting to say something but what is with all everyone saying "gozaru" now. It is like I'm watching Kenshin.

Now that I think about it, this arc did seem to have a Kenshin-like vibe. I am surprised that nothing was put in the translators notes though. They catch almost everything else so why not say something about Himura Kenshin's catchphrase.

"de gozaru" that they used has nothing to do with Kenshin. It was used in history by samurai. Even though Kenshin uses it alot, but they weren't referring to him. Bansai (Tsunpo) also chose to use de gozaru here , that is all.

I loved this arc!! It had a good plot line :) The fighting was just amazing *.* Also it was sad ;-; the part with Itou :(
I also felt really sorry for yamazaki and his funeral, no one cared :( But when they all gathered round Hijikata at the end i felt happy again :D

Yamazaki is alive!!! XD And the ending was both sweet and funny. Glad to have Hijikata back in the Shinsengumi. X3
