Hajime no Ippo Episode 39

glad they took a break off of ippo... the story line was feeling redundant.

indeed it was

hmm looking forward to see the counter again...

i like these episodes because normally the main character 'levels up' doing some unfathomable training while we weren't looking

And then that training is shown right before the good part of the fight in a 3 episode long crappy flashback =/

Hopefully this anime never stoops to that level.

Finally get to see my favorite character again. =)

Guess it'll still be a long ways to go to see a Miyata vs. Ippo rematch.

It's so weird for me to see Miyata's level going down. At the very start of the series, people were yapping all about him. Now that he's in a foreign land, it's just a shock to me how people look down on him.

This match almost reminds me of IPPO VS SENDO since everyone was cheering for sendo 0.0 and here everyone is cheering for jimmy, well not everyone was cheering for sendo and jimmy but u kno wat i mean
