So incredibly romantic - I love this anime. It's so sad but that's also what makes it so beautiful and real. More than half of the truly great loves are tragedy's, but I like them anyway. :D

Holy sh**! That was not how it was supposed to end! In the game, Hijikata lived and they went to see the Sakura tree bloom. WTF?! They pretty much followed his route up until the end. Why?!?! Because everyone else died so he must die as well? I don't care if they want to make it more moving I want a happy ending darn it!

they choose a great place for the ending scene, but does EVERYBODY need to die? Tough anyway it was good. Sad yet beautiful anime. Loved the characters and plot.
