Alucard revealing himself as Dracula was the coolest part ever. It's also ironic the way he killed Incognito....the exact same way Vlad III Dracula of Wallachia(Romania) aka "Vlad the Impaler" would, which is "impaling the enemy on a sharp pole" :0 i worship that guy..jk

What a series, really that was so bad ass and just as good if not better than the manga. Besides the way better way to say Alucard is dracula than Vamp hunt D and the music, does it get more badass than that? idk but it would be hard to top.

I really wish this anime would of lasted longer, it's way too good to only be 13 episodes...

This was a pretty boring anime, (That's only because it's not my style) but i loved this last episode ! :D

I don't get it.. So if he didn't die from any kind of physical damage, then how is getting impaled more effective? How come there are coffins for vamps to sleep in when sunlight has no effect on them anyway? Looks like it's just another one of those, where he who can look the coolest and talk the cheesiest **** will win^
Why do they use SAS troops? Supposedly they are the best there is, but in every single battle they are totally useless. They just die at the first sight of an enemy every time.. I suppose that always happens to those with no name, face or character. Those are after all the only things that matter when it comes to surviving in the anime world..

I didn't get this ending at all, that was the only unclear thing to me in this series :) In the 1st 4 episodes it feelt like I knew just everything about everything in this serie. And my ass, I was right too! ^-^

I did enjoy the series, but the ending was a bit disapointing. I didn't understand it at all x) But maybe it's just me. And it happend, like ... ALOT in only 13 episodes. Everything happend very fast, but still was very clear. I want to see more of Alucard, Victoria and the whole Hellsing Organizasion. I'm looking forward to the next time ^-^

Cool ending, nice refences, but the ova will explain the whole alucard/dracula/vlad thing better and doesn't have that much of an open ending, things sure still look a bit open, not limited to the fact father alexander and alucard didn't settle the score yet, and seres still being a weak slave vampire!

Even if I like the OVA story better, I would love some more of this too, I totaly don't agree with some of the above comments about it being cheesy, in contrary!

Dannyboy vamps are not real dracula didn't realy existeded( vlad thempes aka dracula did existed and killed people with a spear) but not blood-sucking and flying and inmortal stuff. i think if it's just a made-up story you can made-up things that are difrent from the myth.like daywalking vamps and the coffins they are one with the vamp, like chese and onion,

it's one of the most intense battle i ever saw....

I thought the series was brilliant! and im glad i found this site because other wise i would never have finished watching it, the ending i thought was well done, because it left it up to your imagination and i love when drama breaks its rules and throws in the unexpected, Go Alucard!!!!
