A happy ending? SRSLY? I'm disgusted and overwhelmingly disappointed.

no rika is not the killer she's a prophet remember? so that month of june was eternal its like a cycle but only rika knows because she's a prophet and she thought that when keiichi is fighting with rena the eternal june will stop but it didnt happen i think the past episodes are not arcs they are part of the story the story is a never ending month of june its like the story of haruhi suzumiya 2 that when the june ends and everyone died the story will begin also in june and everyone will be alive again so i think that happened see keiichi remember killing rena and mion but they're alive here so i think im right mion is still the cutest for me hhehhee

That was the most epic thing i've ever seen.

I get it! It's like groundhog day only cuter, cooler and gory xD So that is why Keiichi remembers killing Rena and Mion, because it did happen but the month started all over again.
Now to watch kai.

huh.. rena overcame Hinamizawa Syndrome... O,o damn. So it's not a happy ending, after the night when Keiichi and Rena fought, the next day, Great Hinamizawa Disaster occurs and kills everyone.. again.. So Rika has to start over.. well. watch Kai and understand it. Only thing bad about it is.... Takano's failure?

i like that ending :] but i dont get the part with rika at the end...is it the introduction 2 the sequel?

not one character who dosent have a screw loose in the whole story, still, kinda liked it :-)

The most craziest thing I've ever ssen :D I really enjoyed watching this anime it was a good change and something new.... The ending is great I mean Rena realized that there are no aliens that want to control the earth and became friends with everyone again. This pure madness in this anime is enjoyment for everyone so I don't get it why so many people stopped watching it :/

One note.. might be a spoiler... but its not a time loop of june 1983... cos its a whole different world... Rika is being reborn into a different world everytime she dies in one... and it is during a random time between her birth and june 1983... (even thou at one point the states that shes being constanly reborn during june 1983, there are many arguments inside the anime to tore that theory apart)... 1st to justify that its not only june which repeats... there are versions of worlds where Keiichi never comes to the village... 2nd Rika has those like "awakenings" during times before year 83, l

like during the time of dam war.. when she met akasaka and 'foresaw' his wifes death... and also all the incoming deaths in the village (including her own ofc)... yet ther is also some more unconsitency in it... as theres a world in which she enters the body of 'that worlds rika' only 2 weeks before the tragedy.... yet Akisaka 5 years before that was informed about his wife... like how? Are there few of Rika's traveling from a world to world, and where one dies the another takes her place until june 1983? That bothers me. (at one point she actually says something like Rika of this world probab

ly died back then) soz for long ass post... althou am looking for an interesting responses and theories regarding this case... naturally might be just some script mistakes combined by slight mistranslations...etc.

Well, i actually didnt explain it too good maybe... so let me do it now: If there really was a time loop... than the time would run in a circle, separating both from past and the future... thus making those to cease existence. The only way out of the time loop would be a true happy ending when Rika survives and the village isnt slaughtered, thus making the circle a straight line of time. But if u watched whole season 1 and 2... in each of them there is 1 episode which happens AFTER whole tragedy and in which Ooishi and Akisaka talk about possiblities what happened. If so than the future exists

and the time loop doesnt... instead of a circle which at some point would break, the time is like countless lines which run along each other.
