Normally, I root for the girl who is really good at a guy-dominant thing, like cars and racing. But in this specific case, I don't feel sympathy for the girl at all. She hurt Iketani (even if she didn't mean to) and she challenges Takumi under such unfair conditions. While Takumi, the better person, decides to help his friend for one thing, and is fully aware of the unfair conditions.
