Oh dear, once again a good idea executed badly. You can't introduce tops and then remove them in the same episode and expect me to care. Invest a little time in developing the relationships for God's sake! We've been told how great the tops are and then this episode shows nothing but incompetence.

Cut them some slack; the people in this show are more like normal humans, including the tops. Human beings are killed easily, especially when they're wounded. Unlike most animes where someone could take a blow like Thor got from Ochre's previous first and keep running around perfectly fine, in real life (and like what almost happened to Thor) it's really easy to die from it. While this anime is definitely fantasy, no one seems to have any supernatural powers. The fights aren't necessarily epic, but they're more realistic; you screw up, you die, and that's that.

Okay i agree it does seem like the tops are really easy to defeat really really easy to defeat. On the brightside since they die quickly we don't get attach and its that much easier when they cause they have to for Thor to Jyu Oh right.

I don't think the Tops are necessarily weak - they're human, no special speed or jujitsu. If the roles were that easy to hold onto they wouldn't be special.

A little surprised that Thor still hasn't realised humans are epically ****ed up.

They have only 11 episodes for the whole series so I do think that they don't have enough time to spend on Top battles, better show us a full scenario than a bunch of boss battles (there are more that enough anime that do that). And the battle itself was done well, Zagi is younger and had the motivation and skill to kill the Top (not to mention that he broke some rules there)...
