the way they portray women in this anime is hilarious. there are 6 women. two come to the future to cook clean and do laundry and yet they still manage to disobey the one rule and put the group in danger twice. one is a little kid that blows up when she gets embarrassed. One's only way of attacking is by horribly cooking and when her own brother looks at her face he gets sick. One whines all the time and after one fight has to be carried around the rest of the show (failed? no it didn't fail. she still acts like a baby) and the final one is only useful if she turns into a guy otherwise she can barely stand. hell she's the only one that is a guardian and she still doesn't get to hang out with the rest of them.

Well thats a nice way of summing it up but theres more....The leader of a supposed mafia family vongoloa is a guy who's stupidly inlove with a girl and daydreams about being with her all day...he hasnt accomplished anything and hes no good...he ****'s himself and gets scared alot but in the end he's stronger than the enemy....a baby who's an adult teachs him stuff and he doesnt get it....everyone would want to hold a powerful postion as a leader like him but he rejects it as hes a dumbass they havent even used all the rings to unleash to power of the new successor and im not talking about the upgraded flames from Tsuna's trail but a new power when all rings unite...it shows in an episode where Tsuna vs Xanxus....and they are all cowards that get scared of a guy who doesnt like being people meaning he's a loner...theres more....theres a stupid cow who cant fight but challenges reborn every time and is a friggin baby who anoys the hell out of me everyother episode (I LIKED THE PART WHERE TSUNA GOT ANGRY AT LAMBO HEHE!) well theres a guy who keeps screaming "extreme" at the end of each sentence and likes boxing (like me) and finally theres the twisted Byakarun and by the looks of it he looks gay!

Well, Japanese culture is considered one of the most machista (macho) ones, they always consider a woman as something who has to serve the man, walk behind him, and accomplish every task given by the man, well, in anime kinds, the more important ones are shojo and shonen, I think that these words mean teenager, shojo for girls, and shonen for boys; in shojo the main theme is love and maybe some accion of the classical 15 year old girl that exists in every anime, and shonen is about accion and in this one the girls are almost useless, they only serve to do house chores, and if they fight, they lose or something like that and a man rescue them. As you can see in both, women are stupid, weak or useless, that is not true, I love women the are as or more capable than us.
