its true that gear third decreases speed but how the hell does gear second decreases strenth didn't you saw that the only time when luffy was able to hit lucci was when he was in gear second?

We have a baka here, roflmfao. He never said 2nd Gear decreases power, he just meant that 2nd Gear has less power than 3rd Gear.Look for the word 'lack' in a dictionary.

I think I know why he becomes so small. It might be from the major stretching suddenly snapping back and it start toshrink in. Probably bad idea for the life of rubber.

but hey, in gear 2 he has a major speed increas AND a major power increase. he could hardly even hurt lucci before, but with gear 2 he did major damage, and not just from the speed, it really did increase his power too.
