Set in the not so distant future, a short, chubby, high schooler by the name of Haruyuki Arita is living his dreary, and frankly upsetting life. To escape from these daily torments, he often logs in to the school virtual network; a program that allows you to use your five senses in a virtual world. Priding himself in his incredibly high virtual squash scores, he is horrified to see that it is beaten. He is confronted by Kuroyukihime; the popular Student Vice-President, who offers him an additional virtual program, Brain Burst. A virtual program that makes time seemingly stand still by a form of acceleration (by their own brain waves). However, with this program also comes a price. A must see of 2012.
