Description: The evil Shadow Lord has taken control of the kingdom of Deltora and has driven the land and its people into misfortune and suffering. Lief, the son of a blacksmith, has just turned sixteen and is entrusted, along with his two companions Barda and Jasmine, with an important mission: to retrieve the stolen seven magical stones that once reunited within the Belt of Deltora, will bring power to the true heir of Deltora and give him the power to free the kingdom from the tyranny of the Shadow Lord. There is just one problem; the seven stones have been scattered all across Deltora and currently reside in the hands of seven wicked men who are not easily willing to give them up.
A Good Book... An Okay Anime

Deltora Quest.
Lief, Barda and Jasmine embark on the most amazing quest I have read. They journey to seven of the most dangerous places in Deltora. The Forests Of Silence… The Lake Of Tears… The City of the Rats… The Shifting Sands… The Dread Mountain… The Maze of the Beast… The Land of the Lost.
But the series doesn’t stop there. There is also Deltora Quest 2, and 3. But why should I go on and spoil for you? I’m here only to write a review.
The Deltora Quest series is my favourite series by FAR. The Quest definitely deserved to be made into an anime/cartoon series. Although, as most series made from a book are, it was quite different, and things were added here and there.
This Anime could have been so much more, I dont know what went wrong and how it went wrong.
If you want the full, and in my opinion, better story, read the books!
