Dantalian no Shoka Reviewed by thanan1

It starts off with the revealing of the whole story line. There are books in the world that shouldn’t exist called Phantom books that give either a blessing or curse based on the reader. Such books should be sealed up due to such danger and it sealed in the world inside the gourd which is dubbed the Dantalian Library (which is either Dalian, the girl found inside the basement of a mansion?, or inside Dalian; either way Dalian is not human) which contains infinite knowledge, the devil’s knowledge. If it becomes a curse, the story crosses borders to the real world and it becomes horrific: mass murder, monsters, etc.

Later on Hugh (the main character) is made the keyholder who is allowed access to the library which helps him fight against the books coming to life and sealing them. This anime is probably going to set itself to seal all phantom books to stop it from wreaking havoc in the world. Hugh is the sole reader (for now) that can understand the Phantom books and can use them properly which helps in the fight to seal these books.

It probably (hopefully) will get better, but this is probably an anime meant for Death Note/Code Geass - ish and Blue Exorcist/Deadman Wonderland - ish fans. It strongly relates to these anime. Hope everyone enjoys!
