Every now and then an anime series will come along that just captivates you. Hajime no Ippo is definitely one of those series. Providing an excellent blend of hilarious humor, exciting action, and captivating drama, this is a rare series that seemingly has it all. There is honestly little to no reason not to like this series.

The animation is superb and very detailed, leaving little to the imagination and giving the viewer a sense of realism not seen in many anime today. With a wide cast of characters to choose from, Hajime no Ippo definitely ranks as one of the best anime of all time..
