Britannia has assigned Area 11 a "correctional education" status, where Elevens are made an example of by brute force, to try to prevent any future uprisings and suppress rebellious thoughts. Unsuspecting high school student Lelouch, oblivious to his rebellious past as Zero, stumbles upon a scheme on his life and the life of a mysterious woman known as C.C., who reveals to him his forgotten purpose and his "true" self. Destroying his assailants and declaring himself Zero once again, Lelouch sets out to finish what he started.

Awesome and better than first season - By Sigart

This show is definitely in a class of its own. The sheer depth of the plot alone is enough to bring it way above average, and on top of that there is depth of character, action, and more turn-abouts than I can keep track of. It truly is an amazing show.

However, while I like angst as much as the next girl, this is a little over the top. There’s just too much… how should I say it.. defeat. I really don’t like how with every victory there’s defeat. It might be realistic, but if I wanted realism I’d watch the news.

On the other hand the ending is the best ending I have ever seen for a show. Ever. It really pulls it up and makes this season marginally better than the previous..
