My cousin recommended Death Note to me, so I took his advice and it is now my joint second [with DBZ] favourite anime series ever - One Piece definitely being my favourite =D.

Anyway, at first, I thought that 37 episodes wouldn’t be enough to make an impact on how great the anime could become.

However, I was completely wrong about that and it’s perfect, not too long and not too short a storyline and is still full of unexpected twists in the course of the series.

Although i’d have to say, this series is probably more suited to those who enjoy intellectual storylines as it’s more like a detective series than action.

I definitely recommend this anime to those who feel they don’t have time to watch the very long running anime series’ and would like to watch a short, but entertaining one. Death Note definitely fits the bill there - the number one non action anime made - in my opinion anyway.
