First of all, I’ll start with a small description, this movie is an alternative reality of the Holy Grail War that happened in Fate/Stay Night, where Archer is not injured by Saber in the beginning, and thus is more active during the story, becoming a main character while Saber becomes more of a secondary character.

now for the review.

The movie is epic, the amount of GARness just cannot be calculated, still the story is highly rushed than what the original was, and thus can become somewhat confusing at some points for those who didn’t actually play the Visual Novel, another thing is that they skipped allot of information such as what are Servant, Masters and Noble Phantasms and allot of other information such as abilities and reasons which i will not state for spoiling reasons, thus people that don’t at least know some background wont even understand whats going on.

I was tempted to give it a 9 out of 10, but the excellent quality, epic battles and amount of GARness shown in it compensates for the lack of connections between the events and information.
