I remember waking up early on Saturday mornings just so I could watch this Anime. I watched Digimon Season 1 and 2 prior to seeing Digimon Tamers as a kid and I loved them all, but Digimon Tamers won me over by a landslide! I still remember every episode of this marvelous season. I remember the true heartbreak I felt while watching some of the later episodes. It was almost as though this Anime became real (which is what Digimon is all about).

A game that children loved and believed in so much to the point where it became reality. I tell you, nothing made me believe that something inanimate could become so real more than this series. I remember wanting to help the young kids of Digimon and actually praying for the next episode to get them out of the pickle that they always seemed to find themselves in. One of the saddest, yet most compassionate memories of my childhood, comes from this anime. I can still see myself sitting in front of the television crying my eyes out for Jerry. God this truly was the greatest anime that I have ever known.

No other anime has ever been able to capture such emotion in such a simple cartoon.

For that it gets my highest rating 10/10 and I wish the scale went higher….
