This is a very nice anime. It uses simple and child drawing- like animation that is however very easy to follow to tell myths, legends and stories passed on through the generations in Japan. It’s very interesting to see how tradition is being kept alive using TV, thus making it more appealing to children and giving them a better understanding of stories that they might have half-understood had they heard them from their grandmothers. The stories themselves are also very enjoyable as they carry meaning and teach kids lessons in a practical way. Non- Japanese Anime fans can also enjoy this since it’s always nice to learn about another country that’s different from yours.
