I hadn’t intended to watch Angel Beats, but after reading the discription, I decided to give it a chance. So far I’ve only seen two episodes, but at this point that more than enough for me to decide that this anime is worth watching. The Angel Beats "world" seems to be set up like a video game, complete with virtual students in a boarding scholl setting. At this point there are many questions left to be answered, namely how this adventure in the afterlife will end. It’s definitely not your average storyline. There have been a few heavy moments so far, but this anime tends to make fun of its self to keep you watching. In just these two episodes nearly ALL of the characters have been brutally killed, but since death is non-existant in Afterlife, it’s almost a joke. I think everyone should watch this anime to the very end.
