You dont have to be a fan of the sports genre of anime to love this show. the character’s are so well written and interesting that any fan of anime could come to love this show. The matches are so amazing they remind me of some of the epic battles that you would see in a non-sports anime (dragonball z, d grey man, hunter x hunter).

Even as a non-sports fan this show ranks in my top 5 of all time favorite anime. Give it a try!!
