Alright so this is not a continuation of Blood Plus or Blood: The Last Vampire it is a SPIN OFF. Once I found out this was coming out I have been waiting for it for a few months now and have had very high expectations of it. After watching the first episode I really feel like it will not live up to them though >.> As far as I know I have never watched anything by CLAMP since this is the first time I’ve actually heard the name before but from what I’ve heard they’ve made good anime’s before but I’m not sure if I’ll like this as much as Blood Plus. From the first episode the main character, Saya, already kills a Chiropteran so I’m guessing she already knows that’s what her job is. This Saya wasn’t like the Saya in Blood Plus where she had to get Haji to come in and basically tell her her role. So far we don’t even know if there IS a character like Haji in this but I think there is going to be one. In this she seems more happy go lucky good kid kind of character who is good looking and good at everything (accept she is clumsy). Sadly though… since she already knows her role I think she isn’t going to change. I really want this to be a more serious show and then slowly forget her role in school but since she already knows her role… they’ve already made some kind of showing with her friends and her friends roles in the opening… I really don’t think that’s going to change which is a real big disappointment to me. Well at least the show only just started so I’ll give a more thorough explanation of the show when it ends but as of now I really don’t think it will live to my expectations. It may be good in it’s own way not being the serious show I would like which will probably happen but yeah I’ll finish this once it ends :D
