(This is my review on DC which I originally posted on sky7 just wanted to give my review/thoughts on this show)

First of all Detective Conan isn?t my favorite anime it?s Death Note. As for my top 3 anime:

 

  1) Death Note

  2) Detective Conan

  3) Code Geass

    If you?re going to ask me why not write a review on your favorite anime Death Note instead of your second Detective Conan. Well that?s because Detective Conan deserves way more recognition than it has right now. Detective Conan is obviously UNDERRATED and I feel really bad for an anime like this to be considered in the top 20. Heck this thing should be in the Top 5!!!

  Although im not shocked. I was kinda expecting Conan to be underrated. Okay?okay being in the top 20 or so isn?t bad at all in fact it?s great! But I believe Detective Conan should be in the top 5. 17th or 18th place is way to low for a anime like this. But hey I don?t blame you SERIOUSLY if there were 500 anime fan?s and they?d hear an anime called ?Detective? Conan im sure 400 of them would jump of a cliff. Mystery after all isn?t a popular genre. But don?t be fooled with the word ?Detective? Detective Conan has tons of action (Black Organization Episodes) and if those remaining fans would take a look at the 500+ number of episodes I wouldn?t be surprised if 90 of them shot themselves in the head. Not to mention this is a ONGOING anime.

  Anyway Detective Conan is not your average anime. DC has lasted for 14 years and is still going smoothly. With 13 movies as of now. 10/12 of which were part of the Top 10 movies of the year.(not including the latest 13th movie). DC is extremely popular in Japan with a movie being shown each year.

    Now enough with the introductions probably the only negative thing about this anime is it?s length and of course repetition. Majority of the episodes have Conan solving crimes using Kogoro as a puppet. But don?t get me wrong all of the episodes are great and that?s the reason I watched every single drop of it and NO im not a fan of mystery DC is probably the only mystery genre anime/show I like. But even if im not into mystery i still found DC fun and enjoyable. But of course it does get tiring.

But the best,most suspenseful,thrilling,nail biting and well action filled episodes are those where the Black Organization is involved, because these episodes are ?the thing? in other words they?re part of the main plot/problem. These episodes make Detective Conan Detective Conan. Seriously if you don?t **** in your pants at least once ill be surprised.

These episodes are usually a couple of episodes, one/two hour special, or a long awaited Black Organization arc. Episode 425 a one hour and a half special for example was FUC**** AWESOME! Episode 425 AKA The Black Impact was IMPRESSIVE hell that thing had me on the edge my seat.

  Another example would be The Clash of Red and Black (491 - 504). Did I forget to mention anything about the FBI & CIA? Because if I didn?t, there in cahoots with Conan so yupzz. So that?s the FBI,CIA and one small kid vs The Black Organization. The Clash of Red and black was a great arc filled with action and suspense. What can be any better than seeing two organizations trying to outwit each other Bombs,a car chase and lot?s more. With all this and major revelations not to mention an epic ending this is easily my favorite arc.

As for my last example episode 345 a 2 hour special. Oh ma gawd I don?t know where to start on this one. Okaaay seriously I was COMPLETELY shocked when watching this one. Talk about WTF moments this episode is filled with them. I swear if you watch this episode your hooked 100% TRUST ME. I wish I could discuss the contents or at least give you some hints/spoilers on what happens on 425 and 345 but sadly it?s really hard to give out hints on this one without spoiling you guys.As for the hints I gave out for the Clash of Red and Black that?s not it heck there?s way more than that. I couldn?t telling you anything else because I would be spoiling you.

These treasured Black Organization eps will leave you definitely stunned. You?d be surprised on how many plot twists these episodes have and if you?d want me to count I?d say uncountable no exaggeration. These episodes will leave you asking for answers. ?WTF! But I thought???? or ?Who is it??? or ?What the hell that guy/girl is a _______!!!? these are a few statements you?ll be shouting out while watching this anime.

    Oh how could I forget? The comedy is great! The great Detective Kogoro Mouri and co will leave you in the LuLs. As for the romance well you?d definitely love it and don?t worry aside from the B-org eps there are tons of episodes which are great too Ran?s Suspicions,Heji & Kudo,Kaitou Kid,Revival episodes and lots more!

    Detective Conan is truly a masterpiece. I hope I encouraged you by writing this so please if ever I did start watching now and see what im talking about.Oh and don?t worry if you need a list of episodes which involve character development and BO action it?s all in the forums. All credit for the list goes to Conan324 and for those who have the guts to watch everything I salute you.

Before I end my review I?d like to point out a few things.

1) Art - Well you?d probably notice that the art isn?t so good at the start. Well what do you expect from a 1996 anime? Anyway no worries as you progress through the series the art becomes better and better and if you use the list I provided the art will change faster until it?s worthy of a 10/10. I would have given DC?s art a 10 but because of the art of it?s early episodes I have no choice but to give it a 8.

2) Music - I love the music of DC! I?m not kidding these old/classic tunes or whatever really can control your mood.

Oh and during those B-Org episodes brrrrr?. the music scares the poop out of me.

3) I would easily give Detective Conan a 10 but because of its length I would have to give it a 9.

4) When watching any episode especially any B-org episode always watch the ending clip after the ending credits.

5) The Detective Boys suck!
