Arashi meeting Yukari is really a big coincidence. They are a complete stranger to one another. Their situation is like picking a random stone in the ground and deciding to put it in an aquarium. I guess if they didn’t meet randomly in the streets, they would still find Yukari but in different way. The story plot is still the same but might start off with showing the ParaKiss having problems finding a model for the show. Then will jump to Miwako, Arashi and Tokumori’s problem (like exactly what happen between the three of them in the original story). Since Tokumori and Yukari likes each other, they could’ve been going out then he will introduce her to Miwako and Arashi. Then that’s when they’ll find Yukari and make her their model. But then a love triangle will form…which is not really the main concept of this anime so it will change the story a bit. Anyway, this anime has quite a few funny bits on it (with the omake effect), especially on the first couple of episodes. In my point of view the start is a bit boring because it really move slow at first. But if you think about the rest of the anime, it is pretty good and it covered up the boringness. I’d say around the third episode everything starts to heat up, even George and Yukari’s relationship. It was unbelievably fast when George suddenly blurted "I’m jealous" around some time when she was confronted by Yukari about him ignoring her (this was because Tokumori and her were going to meet Miwako in a coffee shop then George walked past them and ignored Yukari). Yukari already known ParaKiss for weeks already but in the anime it shows a very little interaction between George and Yukari before that event, that’s why it’s really surprising how they already liked each other so fast (and thinking Yukari also likes Tokumori). It actually confuses me cuz I wasn’t sure if George is serious or not. Then in the same night they kissed each other. Their relationship at first is weird. They talk less to each other and it seems like George doesn’t take Yukari seriously. Then Yukari left their home and decided not to attend school to be able to spend more time with ParaKiss and George. Since the manga is josei, there are adult content on it. Like Miwako and Arashi doing it the pool table in their studio, even at Miwako’s place and Arashi’s. They even talk about it boldly. Yukari and George also did it in Arashi’s bed (this was when Yukari is temporarily living at Arashi’s place. She invited George to drink coffee then she cried because she wants George to be on his side forever. George comforted her then they did it) They did it twice…almost thrice. The second wasn’t really shown but it was at George place when she’s now living with him - in the couch(after they did it at Arashi’s place, George decided to take Yukari to his place instead the next day) The third was on the last episode…they were about to do it again but then Kaori came (George’s friend). It is moderated anyway so there’s no worry. It is really sexy in my opinion..but not in pervert way. You can say they really like each other. The anime is really focus on the characters’ feeling towards the person they like. Jumping on the last episode, they won 2nd place and George is moving to Europe to continue his designing. Yukari failed to get in to a college school therefore she’s going to continue modelling. She was asked by George to come with him but then she refused. I am not really sure what could’ve happen if she said yes. Speaking of their "3rd" time…Kaori came to George’s place and Yukari started to yell at her. Yukari’s acting like a bi*ch and it really pissed me off. She’s mental that time. That scene was really not a good impression of Yukari. George also felt the same way as me >_< then the next thing you know George is going to leave next day. The night before that was really sad. He dropped Yukari off to her place and left. That’s the last time they see each other. While he was driving he had a tear in his left eye which is really sad and that’s when I started crying. Yukari also cried. The next night (the night when George is going to leave) she received a mail saying there is a key somewhere in this place and open the room using that key. She ran (I was crying) to that place and when she opened that room, it is filled with the dresses George made (the dresses in his wardrobe at his house). This part, I bursted out. It is bitter-sweet part…giving her the dresses. Then the last scene is Yukari speaking and saying "I’m getting married next month" and in that instant, you’ll know she’s not going to get married to George…more likely it’s Tokumori since he is her real love. In my opinion, Yukari did love George but they just aren’t meant together. And it turns out like George is just a distraction to Yukari’s real feelings. The ending is the key answer to Yukari’s question: "What will happen to the two of us after the festival? After I become your model…would you still need me?" Don’t blame George. He didn’t abandon her. They really just have to separate ways. The saddest part is that they didn’t have a proper break-up. The ending is really sad. I cried and cried and even after the anime has stopped playing in my screen, I still cry remembering how it ended. It is simply a heartache.

Paradise Kiss, after the first 2 eps, move along smoothly and steady. There is no hole in it which is good. The art style is great too.

About the ending, it is more realistic I’d say. Usually shoujo always end up with the main guy and girl together but this one is different. The ending is twist and even though it is sad, you’ll still like the anime. I personally think that way. If you think of how Yukari acted…she’s spoiled and she only wants to satisfy her needs…like she’s selfish. She’s very irresponsible. If she doesn’t know what to do, then she could’ve just graduate high school, went in to a college and find a job and look for what she really wants. Yukari doesn’t seem to like fashion/model anyway but she had to do it because she doesn’t want to study. She’s so confusing. I don’t understand her. In my opinion, George has been honest and even though he’s like that, he doesn’t deserve Yukari. But I’m willing to watch this again even if I cry in the end. You won’t get tired watching it adding the fact that it’s only 12 episode anime.

All in all. Not a very bad anime. Unique plot and ending. If you like to cry your eyes out and experience heartache for a short time, watch this. If you like fashion and different story, watch this. You won’t regret it.
