This is a series but each of these episodes could easily stand alone.  The series tells the story of an unusual pet shop in Chinatown.  While the manager of the shop is even more unusual the stories about the shop and its unique offerings hold center stage.  The shop offers pets of un imagined curiosity but failure to adhere to the terms of sale can have dire consequences.  Although there is a hint of the macabre in each story the manager’s, Count D, sense of humor is infectious. And one of the pleasures of this series is smiling along with him when the very fallible customers of the shop fail to meet the terms of the contract.
