One Piece is my favorite anime (and manga).

The story is about an adventure of a boy, Luffy, who is aiming to be King of The Pirates. To reach his goal, the last island of the Grand Line - Raftel,- which holds the greatest treasure ‘One Piece’ - Luffy searches for a crew, choosing the strongest and the most skilled (or just weird) members.

This anime has everything:

-excellent story

-unexpected and stunning plot twists

-great character development (oh there are a lot of characters to chose a favorite from ;] )

-humor

-battles (shounen, shounen :p)

-a bit of drama :p

Even the fillers are great 0_0

The soundtrack and art are amazing as well.

To people that find the art ‘‘childish’‘... I have nothing to say :S

Always liked the art of early episodes (it does change later), and besides unlike some shounen anime *cough cough* OP has something else to offer, which is excellently planned plot.

So to sum it up, if you are a fan of shounen… No, you don’t even necessarily have to like solely shounen…

If you are a fan of great long anime you must be already planning to watch OP asap ;)
