Shiba Inuko-san is an adorable little anime… yes, it’s a bit strange having a dog schoolgirl that only one person knows is actually a dog… but once you get past that, it’s just a bunch of girls being friends and having fun at school. I just wish it were a little longer so that it could be a full-on slice-of-life anime instead of a 2-minute clip. It can be a little jarring that sometimes the opening credits are longer than the episode itself, albeit with an intensely catchy theme song. Overall, though, it’s a wonderful whimsy little anime, and when the episodes are so short there’s no excuse not to sit down and watch at least one, just to see how charming it can be.
