This is definitely one of my favourite anime, and I would eagerly recommend it to anyone who likes a good mystery. With its gripping puzzles, well-designed characters and relationships, exciting action and chase scenes, childish humour, and of course Conan’s undeniable cuteness, it certainly ticks all the boxes. The series has an interesting layout; each episode is about a different case, yet there is a solid storyline connecting them all together. I can’t really pick up on any flaws; at first I thought the whole "Detective Boys" thing would get on my nerves, but their episodes often turn out to be quite cute and humorous. Occassionally one of the mysteries is a let-down, or the solution is a tad too farfetched even for Shinichi, but these cases are few and far between, with the majority of episodes providing original entertainment and keeping you guessing until the end..
