Saki Episode 23

Ugh. Its a sort of decent, semi interesting anime...but miyanaga pisses me off only doing tsumo after kong over and over again. one trick ponies are boooring.

I share your sentiments... So far she's only been doing that despite the odds of winning off a kong being extremely low! It'll be great to see her actually play and win normally too. I can only remember another instance where she won cos her opp gave her the tile. Her 2 tournaments combined should have over 12 of that... I bet nodoka would get annoyed if saki keeps doing that...
Saki would have been completely trashed if people just stopped playing singles that haven't appeared like with the president. At least the little girl won with a myriad of hands. sigh

I agree with that, the whole tsumo after kong thing is a bit redundant. I have a feeling she will have to do many things different if she wants to do well at nationals and challenge her sister.

Anyone know how many more episodes left for this anime? I have a feeling it is close to the manga now.

Yeah, the anime probably is getting pretty close because if I'm not mistaken the individuals tournament never actually happens in the manga and so these last couple of episodes are fillers

so individually out of five now that odds aren't half bad
