Slayers Episode 19

1st after 2 yrs wooooooot wooooooot

This was a very disturbing episode.
It only gets more so, as I think about it.

A few of my questions are;
Do copies of a person, have the same legal standing, as the original?
Are copies married to the person their previous self was married to?
What if there are two or more of a person, at the same time, which is the legally recognized person?
What if one breaks the law, can you kill a different one in their place, or do they all get convicted and suffer for what only one of them did wrong?

If perfect copies of people are easy that easy to make, can a person ever die.
