For those confused about the timeline of events thanks to the light novel: THE NOVEL FOLLOWS A MAIN STORYLINE BETWEEN KIRITO AND ASUNA. THE LIGHT NOVELS HAVE SIDESTORIES THAT TELL OTHER ADVENTURES IN THE GAME. THIS EPISODE AS WELL SOME FOLLOWING TELL THESE SIDESTORIES AS THE ANIME TAKES THE STORY IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER RATHER THAN TELLING SIDESTORIES AFTER THE END. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

I'm surprised that in the future, among 10,000 early adopters of an MMORPG there are players that are suck freaking n00bs that they won't spot a trap like that a mile away. I mean seriously!

If I was that much of a meatbag player in a game like this, I wouldn't leave the first town. I'd spend my days hunting wild boars until I lost my mind from boredom.

after last episode were they barely defeated first boss now they can travel with ease through certain level's up to 49 or maybe even higher.. and all thanks to some guild that goes first.. they made a huge progress..
kirito how hard must it be for you..? loosing your friends from guild and later getting a farewell note from a dead friend is so sad.. god job that you gave revive item to klein..

I feel so very sad in this episode even this reality people might died in MMORPG caused by a evil mad scientist. I think Kirito's level is 48 but later in 55 or 61 though. Has connection on the manga.
