Wow, that...was a pretty impressive anime. The emotional impact, combined with lack of sleep, was very powerful. I enjoyed it a great deal.

Woh! Finale already? I guess it's fine. I don't think I can't hold my tears any longer if it's still continuing. The impact is so(too) strong. I think it's the most touching anime I've ever watched.

i have to admit something to you alll, my fellow anime friends. I cried....

OK, anyone that didn't get a little misty eyed at that has no emotions what so ever. This was one of the best anime I've seen this year. This is the second anime to ever make me want to cry like a blubbering idiot. (the first being Samurai X: Reflections) AnimeCrazy I tip my hat to you. I have a few friends that think anime is all blood and ****s. This is a perfect example of phenomenal story, very well done animation and episode pacing.

I've never been so emotional watching an anime before but this really got me...excellent series.

I have been using and thouroughly enjoying AC for almost three years now and this anime has finally forced me to register as a member. I just had to comment. This anime was just too amazing.

I will admit, I cried... I cried long and hard.

Similar to what ak1ra666 said above, this is only the fourth anime ever to make me cry (and I have seen over 80 at this point). They are: Naruto (3rd Hokage's death), Full Metal Alchemist (Lt. Hughes' death), Samurai X: Reflections (Kenshin's death), and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (the entire last episode).

I am definately going to recommend this to all of my friends. A truely brilliant work.

This just has to be in the top 10 emotional moments in anime history. Like it's been said before you have to be ice cold to not get touched by the intensity of the drama and the sorrow of the atmosphere. I was able to keep a straight face up until the moment that Mirai brings out the gift for their mother, at that moment I imagine what any mother, or any parent must have felt at that moment, the sad sentiment was just too much and the emotions finally got to me. I imagine we will be talking about this episode for a long time to come because moments like these come few and apart in anime history.

About 7:09 minutes in.. the image of Yuuki fading within the shadow of the door...... I couldn't deny the tears anymore after that...... wow what a great anime. This whole series was just excellent..... can we push for it to be nominated for an Emmy or something??? Great imagery.... great great great story....

This was truly a beautiful episode, it's been awesome watching this. Sad to see it's over but happy to see it's wrapped up well. And yes I cried when Mirai gave her mum the present, you'd have to have a heart of ice not to feel her greif there. It'll be a while I can imagine before another anime this touching is released.
