Being an astronaut is quite risky. To pass you need to withstand a certain amount of G force and have some knowledge about piloting and stuff. The most risky part is the solar flares. Once you get caught within the outburst of the solar wind from the sun, it will burn you into like a fried chicken.

yeah I'm gonna watch this...I've been following the manga ever since and the movie was great and all.........damn!
