I love how this story actually has the guardians there and a part of Natsume's life, rather than having them be convenient cardboard cutouts that simply never bother with him (hmm, a certain mom from Pokemon comes to mind as a good example of the "simply there for the sake of being there" guardian). I think this gives the series a sense of believability that a lot of other series don't have, ghost busting and supernatural encounters aside.

The animation in this episode looks a little different than the previous episodes. I wonder if they handed the storyboard off to another studio, or if the director just felt like a little change in pace (reminiscent of Hideaki Anno's experimentation with the animation in Kare Kano towards the end of the series).

yeah, natsume's hair looked a little different but nyanko-sensei remained the same.. haha

i love natsume's "family"... :)

wow... it seems like everyone knew reiko x] how sweet of her and Natsume to protect them :'] i wonder when natsume will tell the truth...
did anyone go "WTH!?" when Natsume nearly got eaten?? XD I DID, LOOL

TELL THEM!!!! Grrrrr.... But I wonder if his family knows anyways? They are such nice people and I'm so glad the show spent some more time with them. :)
Everyone is right though, they did change the drawings and animation a little bit. The way people move is just slightly different. I wonder why :/

I was shouting at the screen "ITS EATING HIM!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!" my mum was like .... 'did you say something?' *cough cough* uhh no :D
it reminded me of spirited away with no-face eating the people :O everything was more animated ".
he needs to tell them :o i think they will accept him :) but it was kinda cute at the end, the accepted him as part of the family a long time ago ^^

Wow I really cried, when his "father" said "This is you home."

I'm sure Reiko would be happy knowing that Natsume found a good home. Though it would be cool if he had inherited some of her badassery

I wish eventually he'll trust them enough to share the truth.

I feel like crying in the end. I think that his foster parents already have the idea about strange things around him. They're just waiting for him to confess.
